Tampere Game Dev Summer Party 2023

UPDATE: The event is sold out! We have opened the waitlist for those who are yet to get their ticket, so be quick in case someone decides to release their ticket!

UPDATE: Only one third of the tickets are left, and the event is in three weeks! Act quickly to get your ticket to the party!

UPDATE: There was a small mishap in the event starting time. The time was mistakenly set to be at 19:00. The event starting time has now been updated to be at 17:00 as it was last year. The old time might be still visible in your tickets. We apologise for any confusion this may cause.

Tampere Game Dev Summer Party returns! A yearly(ish) tradition of the local gamedev scene, this time graciously sponsored by Tampere Game Hub, 10tons, Moido, Dreamloop, and Red Stage. We’ll have the party at Varalan Rantasauna where you can swim, go to sauna and enjoy catering by Herkkä Snacks (hot dogs!) – and also meet all your cool game developer buddies in person.

Join us one and all, game developers, researchers, students and anyone involved in the scene – you’re all very welcome!

There are three saunas available at Varala: One for men, one for women, and one mixed/all genders. Swimsuits optional! Depending on the amount of people wishing to go to sauna, we may make all saunas open for everyone.

Tampere Gamedev Summer Party adheres to the principles of a Safe Space. You may view these principles here.

When: Friday 21st of July 2023, starting at 17:00.

Where: Varalan rantasauna (https://varala.fi/en/saunas/) – Varalankatu 36, 33240 TAMPERE

How: You can get to Varala by taking bus number 10 (e.g. from Keskustori) and hopping off at the Varala stop. Its a 500m walk from the bus stop to the saunas.

Why: Spend a legendary fun summer night by the lake!

Bus to the Afterparty: Bus to the Afterparty at Bar IHKU departs at 23:30 from the entrance of the Varala flow park.

Afterparty: At Bar IHKU! Karaoke? Absolutely! Drinks? You bet! Free entrance to all ticket holders!
