About this event

Tampere Game Dev Summer Party returns! A yearly(ish) tradition of the local gamedev scene, this time sponsored by Tampere Game Hub, Microsoft, Boom Corp and 10tons. We’ll have the party at Varalan sauna where you can swim, sauna and enjoy catering by Herkkä Snacks (hot dogs!) – and also meet all your cool game developer buddies in person.

Join us one and all, game developers, researchers, students and anyone involved in the scene – you’re all very welcome!

When: Friday 15th of July 2022, 17:00.

Where: Varalan rantasauna (https://varala.fi/en/meeting-rooms/, Rantasauna) – Varalankatu 36, 33240 TAMPERE

How: This year, find your own way to Varalan rantasauna! You can get there by using bus number 10 (from Keskustori) really easily.

Why: Spend a legendary fun summer night at the lake!

Bus to Afterparty: Bus to Afterparty at Platform6 departs at 24:00.

Afterparty: Platform6 Startup House starting at 24:00. Karaoke? Maybe! Drinks? You bet!

Tickets are 40€ per person (including VAT). At first there will be a 5 ticket maximum per company, so everyone gets a chance to participate. Sales open completely a bit closer to the event.

– Bus ride to Afterparty

– Food, snacks – vegan options will be available as well

– Drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)

– Towels

What to bring:

– Swimming suit/trunks unless you wanna go skinny-dipping

– A sunny attitude!
